My pal AnarchyTech brought my attention to 『the TV show』, an awesome indie animated (自主制作アニメーション) music video by SUGIMOTO Kousuke (director) and MANABE Takayuki (music). [embedded clip is the HD version, the normal version is here] Check-out Kousuke’s other works at his website. Saw some Star Wars themed Adidas kicks while walking around the mall. There were only 2-3 models on display (Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, and something else that’s… black). Looking through the official catalog showed me this: Answer to the question above: WANT! BTW, the collection’s intro video is a nice mashup of clips from the movie, [...] Unleashing unrestrained devastation to the unending hordes of beasts and hellions in the surprisingly cavernous, well-lit dungeons of Torchlight, essentially an exercise in gambling for marginally improving stats, while listening to an unending loop of Macross Frontier’s JPOP divas, is utterly engrossing. Sheryll Nome’s encouraging “FAITOs” dare me to press on. “Let me know what [...] Whenever I try to remember when I started to really pay attention to music, the image (or rather, the sound) that comes-up is always Nirvana. Of course, the truth is we’ve been bombarded by music since being in utero (pardon the pun (^^;) ). Theme songs, commercials, jingles, mandatory music to learn at school, we [...] Busy month, last June was. A lot of interesting stuff, and not enough time write lengthy spiels about. Micro-blogging has thankfully allowed me to at least place some of those thoughts on record (which reminds me to look for some means of archiving them properly), but some of them are somewhat significant that I’d like [...] Think about this… You are in the far, undisclosed, future. Far enough that there already exists a “Galactic Alliance” between Earth humans and other humanoid alien races, and sufficient technology for space travel and military hardware designed to withstand the harsh primal elements, travel in space, and equipped with the best tools and weaponry that the [...] Ah, TGIF. But there’s nothing like waking-up to Saturday morning cartoons! [OMFG!!! I just LOVE all the irony and sarcasm they packed in that minute and ten! \(^0^)/ ] … well, you should if you’re willing to deal with a deep/heavy storyline involving personal issues, the nature of humanity, and supes. The story ain’t for everybody, nor is the movie. If you still don’t know, Watchmen is a movie directed by Zack Snyder based on a 12-issue comic of the same name, which was written [...] … unfortunately, it does nothing to improve an already highly skeptical ambiance towards the upcoming movie. Not a surprise, really, just a teaser for the disappointment to come on 2009.03/13. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, perhaps both… but not in a good way. I first saw the trailer at Tor, then at Kotaku, not that it helps my [...] I’ve been too busy to post anything this past while, but I’ll take some time for this.
