I actually saw this commercial in LA during my California vacation. Given that me and my friends from the Philippines just watched the movie right before I got to LA, I immediately shared this with them. For the other pinoys, check out this commercial we missed out on. Product advertising has made vast strides in “watchability” since I was a kid, particularly in the Philippines. What’s more annoying is, the lag somehow comes in either when we manage to win a critical skirmish or whenever we have an upper-hand! Why, network gods?! WHY?!!!! In my trip to California last July, my cousins and I went to Hooters for lunch. Although it ain’t obvious from the pictures, the food there is actually pretty good. I particularly liked the buffalo wings. Of course, there were other perks. Stuff like this comic (from xkcd.com) always knocks reality back into my senses. Sometimes the world is so effective in putting you in a box you forget that you forget how huge the space is outside.
